Good news

I had some good news today which really cheered me up. I won't say what because I don't want to jinx it but it stopped me fearing the worst about my writing. I am brimming with confidence about it now. Hopefully I will hear more tomorrow and I can share my good news properly.
No other writing done since yesterday but I have a few evenings to myself this week in which I can get stuck in to my First Line short story entry. I had banned myself from writing short stories until I made some proper progress with my novel but that didn't work and all that happened was no writing at all. None at all. Thats not good.

  2. Good news is always welcome. I'm pleased for you - it's lovely to get a good boost in confidence.

Sounds like you're loving the short story writing better than the novel writing. I'm the extact opposite - I wish I loved both though!!!

  3. Thanks Karen, It's just nice to know my work isnt being dicarded straight into the bin. Just the confidence boost i needed.

I'm please too A.writer. Ive been really down and feeling rejected but its all turned around. I am loving the short stories more to be honest. I think its because it allows me to think differently all the time. I love that

  4. Oooh the good news sounds VERY exciting. Can't wait to hear what it is.

Oh. Could you do me a favour? When you've linked to my site could you remove my full name and just put 'Writing About Writing' instead? Several people have been googling my name plus the word blog and I think they might have ended up here (which tells them where my blog is!) Thanks luv! x

It is very exciting. Well for me anyway but I still havent had it 100% confirmed - lets just say JDS has emailed me and wants to propose a few things. I dont want to say anymore but I am sure you will know what I mean. I hope to tell all next week.
