What a Feeling!

I have just sent my entry for the Waterstones Postcard competition. I didn't realised how much I missed that rush you get when clicking the send button. Exhilerating. Right enough chat it's back to the 9-5 and I shall be working hard on my novel for the rest of the week. Lets hope I can continue where I left off before my holiday.

  1. It's great isn't it! You get a bit of a rush and there's the added hope that you might actually win. I look forward to reading it when it's up on their site.

  2. I know. I dread to think what I'd be like if I actually won. I dont think I'd be able to breath. It's not up yet - I keep checking like a mad woman. It's not posted under the name I use here but under my other less glamorous name which I just can't bring myself to use here. The story is called 'Run for your Life'. You should be able to find it under today's date when it's up. Hope you like it.

  3. It is exciting. I posted one last week and was amazed that there were so many entries. I don't think mine stands a chance, but it's nice to know it's out there anyway! Good luck :o)

  4. Karen - I just read yours and Cally's now and they are both REALLY good. To be honest mine doesn't even compare to most I have read. I didnt do any design on it either. I was still pretty pleased with it though. I can only get better. I just saw mine up there but I'm not sure which date it is saved under. If you want to read it you can search under the name Cheryl (yes that is really me!) mine is called DfDf (not sure why it says this as its really called Run for your Life)
