I was so sad to hear the news last night that Michael Jackon had passed away at the age of 50. I was a huge fan of his and was massively affected by his music when I was growing up.
I always thought that it was a shame there was so much controversy surrounding him because I think people forgot just how truly talented and pioneering he was.
Carol - I agree, his life was overly complicated which I think tended to overshadow his music. Now people are appreciating his talent which I love. Thanks for the lovely comment :)

It really is quite shocking news, though maybe not surprising in some ways. I loved his music growing up.
