Word of the Day

I've got my rear in gear and am just taking a minute out from my novel writing (while also listening to Scrubs in the background - what I can't work in silence) to write my latest blog. As you will see from the new addition to my blog I will be writing something based on the Word of the Day. I will incorporate the word of the day into my novel or see if it develops into something new. Todays word is:
Woolgathering \WOOL-gath-(uh)-ring\, noun:Indulgence in idle daydreaming.

  1. Now I really like this idea, and I like woolgathering, too. What a great word! I suspect that I would gather rather a lot of wool if I had the time.

I can't write without music, either.

  2. Punch "luciferous" into Google and see what happens.

  3. Thanks Leigh. I was quite pleased with the idea. I thought it was about time I should broaden my language skills.
I cant stand working in silence. The music cant be too loud though otherwise I start writing the song lyrics!

  4. Hi! I watched Ugly Betty! They showed a lot from Wicked! It was great to see them! I really want to see Wicked again but it's not likely since I live so far away from London :(
