Anagrams and book request

After a couple days off the writing I am back to... well the writing. Ok not really quite yet but all in good time. There are 2 hours until I'm staring at the backs of my eyelids. I have just spent the last hour (not included half an hour last night and my lunch break today), trying to anagram my butt off. If you like them and more to the point like Lucy Diamond's books and want to win the new one Hens Reunited then head over to Being Lucy Diamond where you too could be anagramming your butt off.

Also on a separate note can anyone recommend a good book or two? I have some Waterstones vouchers and am stocking up for my holiday in 2 weeks! I will of course being buying this one if I don't win it but it's not on the shelves until after I leave for pastures sunny.

  1. Hey I like the new blog lay out! You shuld get The Other Hand by Chris Cleave - not exactly a beach read but such a brilliant book, the writing is incredible...it will leave you reeling!

  2. My book of the decade so far is "Proust was a neuroscientist" by Jonah Lehrer. Unbelieveably bursting with ideas and sparkling bits. Fab.

  3. Do you know....now that you have asked...my mind has gone completely blank!!

Oh, wait....if you've never read it then I can highly recommend Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. It's a wonderful book!!

  4. I had a go at the anagram, but it wasn't very good! I liked yours though.

Have just read Sophie Kinsella's new one, Twenties Girl, which was blimmin' fab (can totally imagine it being turned into a filum) :o)

  5. Kerry - I found this one and it looks intriguing. It doesn't give much away which is making me want to read it.

Niamh - I couldnt find this one but I checked online and think I may have been in the wrong section. I am going back tomorrow to make my purchases (left my vouchers in the office!)

C - I couldn't find this one either but I did see 'For One More Day' by the same author which I really like the sound of x

Karen - I loved yours, it made me laugh a lot! I really want to read that but its not out in paperback yet. I just hate holding those hardbacks for long periods of time. I haven't read remember me so I may get that.

I also just found The Accidental Family by Rowan Coleman so another one.

Thanks for the recommendations, now my problem is picking the ones I take with me!
